Day 1 : Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, Transfer to Moshi

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be greeted by a driver holding a sign with your name and transferred to your hotel in Moshi. There will be a climb orientation and equipment check, and you can leave any unnecessary luggage at the hotel. Take the opportunity to rest and prepare for your climb

Day 2 : Marangu Gate to Mandara Huts

After breakfast and a briefing, drive to the Kilimanjaro National Park Gate. Register and begin your climb through the rainforest to the Mandara Huts. Look out for Eucalyptus trees, birdlife, and Colobus monkeys. Enjoy a side trip to Maundi Crater for stunning views. Distance: 8km, Climbing Time: 3-4 hours. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Leave the rainforest behind and ascend through the open moorlands to the Horombo Huts. Marvel at the views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. Look for giant lobelias and groundsels during walking. Acclimatization effects may start to be felt. Distance: 12km, Climbing Time: 6-6 hours. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
